Kieru Monthly Update - June
May was a busy month for us both in and out of the studio. We have been working hard to redefine what Kieru is and is not. The results of this you will see in the coming months, but in the mean time we are pleased to present to you are our new Ninja character model.
Last month we showcased some concept art of character designs that Isaac had been working on in an effort to improve the quality of our player model. This month we can now actually show you the results of said designs.
Accompanying these photos of the new ninja model is the silhouette concepts Isaac drew up just before he began modelling.
Note: The model is still a work in progress.
This month we set out to Sydney for GameOn and drove ourselves down south to a local event called GammaCon. We had a blast at both of these events and it was great meeting all of our Kieru fans! Both of these events brought to us a significant amount of opportunities for us to peruse. We are looking forward to sharing some of these opportunities with all of you in the coming months. All we can say for now is there are exciting times ahead!
Before GameON we got interviewed by Adam Farrow-Palmer from Broadsheet. You can check out that article here: http://www.broadsheet.com.au/sydney/entertainment/article/game.
More recently however we got a quick little mention in The Guardian's round up of GameON.You can read that piece here:
Reload Bar and Games - Local Indie Night
We are pleased to announce we will be at Reload Bar & Games's local indie games night which takes place next Thursday, the 18th of June. So if you are in the Canberra region we implore you to come join us for a chat, a drink or two and of course, at a minimum, a round of team death match in Kieru.
That's it for this months update, as always be sure to come back this time next month for the next Kieru update. In the meantime you can keep up to date on everything Kieru by following our social media pages here:
