KIERU MONTHLY UPDATE - JULY/AUGUST
Sorry we haven't posted in a little while, but there's been a lot happening. On the game front, we have decided to switch to Unreal Engine 4. Unreal has robust networking capability that supports our core gameplay elements. Of course, it has taken a little while to rewrite the game in the new engine, but that task has gone surprisingly well. We also took a little time to reorganise the team after the departure of Samuel Moloney for purely economic reasons. Life as an unpaid game developer is never easy, and we wish Sam all the best for the future.
We hope in the coming weeks we can show all of you what we have achieved in Unreal but for now here is some pretty awesome concept art and animations.
More Concept Art!
As always we have some more concept art to show off thanks to Isaac who spent the last few days before animating creating some sweet level concepts. We hope to see these (or a version of them) in the full release of Kieru!
You may remember in the last update we showcased our new ninja model. This time we can proudly present to you two of the character animations you will find in the game.
That's it for this month's update, we should now be back to posting regularly on our Facebook and Twitter accounts as well our normal schedule of larger monthly updates. But on that note be sure to check back next week as we have an exciting announcement to make!
